Last week on 25th Feb'06 was a very happy day for ting & riq (and for all of us) as it was their wedding day =). I was her bride of honour. 25 th early morning, I woke up at 04.30, get ready, and wait for the bride to pick me up for make up session.
The makeup artist whose handled ting's makeup was an expert from Taiwan (from sohpia bridal) and the makeup artist whose handled me was an indonesian but he is also quite expert in my opinion. After they (the make up artists) finished with our face, they start doing our hair with an amazing speed and details. Before leaving, i told the makeup artist that i will not wash my face forever, coz i never look so amazing. ehhehehhe
Ting was very very pretty in her morning dress (model putri duyung) and the blue hand bucket of rose. I told her that and she looked shining and super happy=)
We headed back to hotel and wait at the room for the groom & family to come and pick up the bride. On about 11 pm, the groom and the family came to pick up the bride and we go to the room downstaird booked for "pemberkatan nikah"
The ceremony was simply beautiful...the priest give some meaningfull marriage advice for the happy couple before he tied them as one in front of GOD.
on 2.00 pm, we head back to the sophia bridal for makeup retouch for the night reception. Ting change her hairstyle and wore a princess-like white night gown (very big and heavy mind u...) She looked even prettier! =)
The reception itself was also very beautiful. The bride walk up the isle while the groom sing a romantic song and they met at the arcade...dance a little dance...kiss the bride while thousand of little heart-shape shining paper fall down on them. They can not take their eyes of each other mind you..heheheh
The party run very well, the guests were enthusiastic, we took endles pictures, have nice catch up with friends, all thanks to Jesus for letting this to happen!
Ting: i always know since forever that you will make a loving wife and mother. You have been like my big sister all this time, so caring and patience, And i know you will be happy in you marriage (i'll pray for that). luv u! =)
After i went back home (felt so great!) i got to take off hundreds of hairpin from my hair, take a shower, and finally slept at 2 am. I didn't woke up until exactly 36 hours later.
