Thursday, December 22, 2005 Movie Review - KingKong
Went to watch King Kong at last and when we got there the queue is pretty long (this is not even weekend!). When we finally get to the first row of the queue, the seats are almost full but we managed to get ourself tickets on the third row (ughhh)
The movie is about a filmmaker (Jack Black) who come to possesion of a mysterious skull island's map. He brought his kru to the island and shot his picture there when the leading actress, Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) got kidnaped by a local "dukun" to be given to "KONG" as feast. However, instead of feasting on her, The Kong saved Ann's life from ficious Dino. The kong went looking for Ann at New York's street and ended up at the top of empire state building shot by 1st World War air army.
The animation, special effects are super cool. Definetely a box office.
